Recorded between July 1967 and April 1968 at Atlantic Studios in New York and live at Winterland and Fillmore West, Wheels Of Fire is the apotheosis of Cream. Toad is the last song of the album Fresh Cream, it’s the first song to feature a drum solo played by Ginger Baker. There is a longer version on the album Wheels Of Fire. Wheels of Fire album version of song SpoonfulI do not own this Song.
GOODBYE CREAM was intended to be another double album, one studio, one live from the Farewell Tour, in the tradition of WHEELS OF FIRE. This unfortunately never came to pass, and only one album, including 3 live and 3 studio cuts, was released. Those Were the Days is a retrospective compilation of music recorded by the British rock band Cream, released on 23 September 1997. It comprises four compact discs and includes almost every studio track released during the band's active lifetime, with the exception of the original 'Passing The Time' from Wheels of Fire, and all but three tracks from the live material recorded in 1968 and released on Wheels of Fire, Goodbye, and the twoLive Cream volumes of 1970 and 1972. The title is taken from the song written by Ginger Baker and Mike Taylor, released on Wheels of Fire in 1968.
