Sonic 3D Blast
Posted April 16, 2018 So I've been setting up the PC version of Sonic 3D Blast via SEGA PC Reloaded, and the page on the wiki talks about extracting the music via Windows Media Player, and then moving that to your game directory. However, Windows Media Player will not detect any music on my copy of the game. Description Fully rendered graphics thrust Sonic into an exciting 3D playing environment. An all new gameplay perspective puts you in the middle of Sonic's 3D adventure! The evil genius Robotnik is.
Windows - 1997
Also released on: Genesis
Description of Sonic 3D Blast Windows
Sonic 3D Blast (aka Sonic 3D: Flickies' Island, ソニック 3D フリッキーアイランド), a really nice action game sold in 1997 for Windows, is available and ready to be played again! Also available on Genesis, time to play an arcade video game title.

@ThePuzzleBoy I think it's 'cause there would be the possibility of getting copyrighted. Sad, I know, but better than having the entire site go down.

I feel like you should make an exception here, since the version on sale on Steam is the Genesis version, not the PC/Saturn version, and has a significant number of differences from that.

I downloaded the demo and I got Sonic & Knuckles Collection.

While the Genesis version is available to buy on Steam. The Windows PC/Saturn version isn't available at all to purchase either. Some would argue that it is the superior version with a new enhanced intro, CD quality music, better graphics as welll as fully 3D special stages which are not present in the Genesis version but on the Windows/Saturn Version.
I own multiple copies of the Genesis version of Sonic 3D Blast on various platforms like my original Genesis, Both Gems Collection on Gamecube and the European PS2 Release, Sonic Genesis Collection on both PS3 and 360, the Steam Release and the PS4, Switch and X-One of the most recent Genesis Collections, look all I am asking for is the superior version to be made available in some capacity since that version is still argued to be Abandonedware.

I'm just gonna quote something I've posted on Mastodon, since I can't bother writing something more original. (I've also avoided the inclusion of the more colorful language I used there.)
'So, just because it's on Steam (which BTW, its client requires Windows 7 or higher), that automatically means that there shouldn't be download links for platforms THAT RETRO PC GAMERS WOULD ACTUALLY USE?!!?
Thanks, guys! Really putting your heart in the right place, especially for the people who can barely make ends meet!'

A good game. One nightmare was if you got hit by the bad guys you lose all the birds or animals you have collected and you have to collect them again.
