Interactive petrophysics is one of the best petrophysical software in the industry. It’s strength is the user friendliness compare to other formation evaluation software.
I will explain step by step usage of the software. Due to the large amount of installation file I will not put the installer on my blog but you can download update file from here. For the full installer, it is about 200+ mb and too big for uploading from Myanmar. If I found somebody uploaded online, I will let you know. For the time being, this is for those who have the installer file.
Ok, you are finished the software downloading and already installed, right. Let’s start the procedure from that point.
First run:
After installation was finished and run the first time for the software, the initial starting window will comes up like this;
Because you don’t have the license file for the software, you cannot click the enter program, just click the “Load test Data” and the program will load the default well “Test Well 1”
Right click the “Test well 1” from the left box and click “Load Well(s)”
Now, well is loaded and click a short-cut for creating new plot
After you click the new plot, your screen should be like this
Good, now you are in business. You can play around with the software and I will explain more on next week.
